Mike is the Senior Branch Manager in Grande Prairie, and he joined North West Crane in 2022.
Prior to joining North West Crane Enterprises, Mike’s origins started in the Heavy-Duty mechanical world in the early 90’s, then transitioned to a career in Pulp and Paper. Being a paid on-call fireman for the bulk of his early years, this operational experience combined with a strong safety culture, generated opportunities in different sectors. Some of these new roles included being a Safety Technician and Emergency Response trainer in an Alberta Hazardous Waste Management facility, various management positions in the Oil & Gas Environmental Waste Management industry, during which he attended training at the Ivey School of Business in Ontario for Leadership. After 15 years in Oil & Gas Environmental management, Mike joined the Oil & Gas construction sector as a General Manager, then transitioned to his new home at North West Crane Enterprises.
Mike assisted in the successful acquisition of Decca Industries by North West Crane in March of 2022. When he isn’t busy overseeing the branch, he maintains an active lifestyle.
